    Hi All,
Windows 10 recently updated (30/9/2007) and now when I import footage, it’s too dark. I rolled back Windows to previous version, but this has not resolved the situation. The footage is fine when opened in Quicktime, but has the same issue when opened in VLC Player. It’s almost like a LUT 709 has been applied twice, as this was the original profile from the footage exported from Avid. I’ve checked the colour management setting, but nothing has changed from before. Does anyone know how to resolve this?

    Thanks in advance

    Al

Maybe check your video drivers. I had to re-install NVIDIA drivers after the update to get some functionality back.

Thanks for the replies, no luck yet though. Since the Windows 10 update, my ColorVision profile seems to have been lost, as I get a message after start-up. I’ll need to borrow back the SpyderPro and re-calibrate, perhaps that’ll fix it!

That didn’t solve it, the mystery continues!
