    Hi, I don’t really use C4d much and am trying to import some FBX files I’ve been given so I can get them into AE with Cineware. There’s a couple of different motion captured characters created in Motionbuilder. One imports fine but the other comes into C4D with a distorted mesh. The movement does work tho.

    Both look absolutely fine in Autodesk FBX Review. Our mocap guy says they were exported from Motionbuilder using the same settings etc, he’s tried sending me a few versions eg exported for an older FBX version but I get the same problem. We’ve tried it in C4d R16 and R18

    A 3D person I asked said “it definitely looks like a double transformation issue on the vertices as you would get if you are doing a blend shape over and over again on the same shape” but that doesn’t seem to relate to anything attributes/tags etc I can edit in C4d once imported

    Any ideas about how I could get this working would be much appreciated, let me know any more info that would help
