  Imported AVIs Freezing

  I’m running Premiere Pro 7.0. I’ve imported some AVIs into the system that are about an hour long each. About 3-5 minutes into each clip the video freezes in the timeline. The clips play fine in the monitor preview window, but when taken to the timeline the audio & video is frozen on the frame; whether that frame is within my in/out or not. Everything prior to the point of freezing works as it should. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
