  • Import Video Frames to Layers glitch – frames out of order

I’ve been using the Import Video Frames to Layers function for ages without any problems, but lately I keep getting a glitch where the frames are imported out of order. Every second or third frame will be switched around; so the basic trajectory is right, but then you have all these switchbacks.
The frames play out of order in the player in the import window, too.

It’s happened with a whole lot of files that I’ve tried (mostly H.264 mp4, which always worked fine before). And the files play perfectly in other software, so it can’t be that they’re wrongly encoded.

I use CS5, and my Quicktime is up to date.

Any ideas why this is happening?
    Thanks in advance.
