We recently migrated from Pinnacle Liquid Blue to an Adrenaline system, and I’m working through some training materials, but haven’t found any info on an issue I’m having. I can’t seem to find the right settings for importing a .psd file. The image looks garbled, especially when I try to execute a move on it. I’ve tried different settings, it looks almost like a field dominance issue, except for the fact that its a still .psd and not an image sequence. I was just wondering if Avid prefers a different image format over a .psd, or if anyone knows what import settings I may be overlooking. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Although Avid can import a wide variety of formats now, I still go with a .png sized appropriately for your system.

Of course you know to stay away from small lines and oversaturated colors….
