    import psd Layers

    hi there,

    I want to use Typografie done in photoshop in an Avid Sequenze.
    My psd files have a background (which is only used as a reference) and several layers with Typografie I want to import seperately.

    Sometimes I am asked to choose which layers to import, or to import a merged image…. then I can pick one or more layers and get several matteclips with alpha and everything is fine

    Other times Avid imports a merged mage of all visible layers of my psd file, with out giving me any choice. It varies from diferent psd files (which are not that different as they are copied from each other)

    Is there any trick, or setting I need to consider or is it a bug?
    To me it appears to be a random thing that happens here, but I am not sure about it.

    Of course I can workaround that by saving each layer as a single file, but if the psd import would work it would be much more convinent.

    any experience out there?
