Import problem – Discontinuous Time Code on Tape
hello,
Apologies if I am posting in the wrong category.
I am a novice user to HDW-1800, and I was wondering if there is any way I can re-write the time code for a recorded tape since it is discontinuous right now and making it very hard to import to FCP.
I’m not even sure if I am phrasing the question right, but any help would be highly appreciated.

Go into your preferences and set it to ignore timecode breaks. Use “capture now” and capture the whole tape. Then you can record back to the tape with new continuous timecode.
