Import Pana P2 media from hard disk

June 22, 2011 at 11:39 amI’m having no luck importing files from P2 folders saved to hard disk using Shotput Pro. FCX fails to import. All MXF files are shown in the error message. Same with files from Panasonic Lumix GH2. MTS files rejected.
I AM able to import the Lumix files directly from camera when connected via the USB cable. Any ideas? Thx.

June 22, 2011 at 12:23 pmI did it under “import from camera”, use archive. Then link to folder over the acctual P2 content.
Cheers,
RobP.S. My 720p50 got wrong aspect ratio, hade to adjust manually. No numbers to check if it was correct done… Also some clips rendered out with rainbow-artifact-checker-board faulty images… dunno if that happened after I applyed slow or CC. It happens every time I try on one clip. Before it renders it looks ok, after render POFF…

June 22, 2011 at 12:36 pmHave to use Import from Camera, open archive. That gives me access to the clips within. Then import as needed. THANKS.

June 22, 2011 at 3:35 pmCamera archived worked for P2. No luck with files from my z7u. Anyone else get these to work from an archive?
