import m2v = program freeze
Long time Encore user – rarely have problems.
Running CS4 suite on Windows 7 i7, 8gig ram.
Rendered AVI from a Premiere 720×480 sequence. Then imported AVI into Media encoder, export to m2v/wav with standard settings.Import m2v into Encore SD DVD project, it appears to import, appears in the project window, then it does its 2nd import (is this indexing of some sort) and gets to 99% then freezes. Heaven forbid you move or click the mouse, it goes into Not Responding mode and the program is frozen. Sometimes the system actually freezes. not good.
The AVI imports no problem.
Any ideas fellow Cows?

we will give it a try. Oddly some m2v files are fine
