I need to insert some footage from dvd into Avid.
With Quick Media Converter I can make any kind of video format from the dvd VOB’s. Very easy. These files run properly in QuickTime or WMP.

But then try to import the converted files in Avid,
    problems start:
Only video, no sound or just a white screen after a long period of importing. I tried AVI, MOV and MPG.

What can I do? Please help.

NB. Someone delivered me an AVI-file for my project that I can import without any problems. Why not my AVI-files?

What’s the audio project sample rate in your settings?

If you have a mojo, the quickest and easiest way is to hook your DVD player into the mojo, and digitize.
