    Import Dialog

    Hey Guys,

    I think I a missing something really basic here, so please forgive my ignorance.
    My Problem

    When I import a file into after effects (file-import) I am no longer getting the dialog box for the import settings.
    For instance, if I import a PSD i used to be able to select which layer or as flattened comp. I no longer have this dialog appearing and it is driving me to distraction.
    I have been in the prefs and there seems to be nothing there to sort it.
    Its AE CS6 by the way.

    The ability to import a single layer from a PSD is only offered when you choose to import the PSD as footage, not as a composition.
