  Import as Timeline options

  I’m authoring a standard definition DVD. I’m trying to decide to Import as a Timeline either (a) an .ac3 audio and an mpeg 2 video file both compressed in Apple Compressor or (b) a 1280 X 720 Pro Res 422 Master file from Apple FXCX. Guess the question comes down to which app does a better job? Compression with Apple Compressor or transcoding with Adobe Encore. From initial testing the DVD’s don’t seem to appear any different. Anyone have a workflow suggestion for HD to std def DVD?
