  • import a comp from a different project ?

Posted by Incredible Bud on September 5, 2007 at 8:22 am

    Hi,

I’ve done some animated backgrounds that i’m using in different project. (a kind of stock shot!)

I’ve to modify it a little bit to adapt it to the speed, colour…of each project.

I didn’t find anyway to import the entire project into my new project.
So I’m copying and pasting each solid from each comp and precomp.

Is there any faster or easier way ?

    Thank you

FILE > IMPORT > FILE then pick your other aep project file.

This brings in the other project in a folder with the project name. You can then select individual comps and make any needed modifications.
