iMovie HD – 24p
I’ve got a bunch of footage shot on a Canon HV-20 in 24p mode. I’d like to import it onto a MacBook Pro, but it doesn’t have FCP, only iMovie HD. Is it possible to import 24p HD video into iMovie HD? I don’t see that format in any of the settings panes.

I doubt it will handle 24p, but how does the camera work? Can it add pull-down on playback? If it can output a 29.97 file with the 24 fps footage within that, you can just edit a video that way. Is there any reason you need to keep it 24 fps? The same look will be preserved.
