I am looking for any tips on a way to automatically stabilise 4000+ images so that I can use them for a time lapse sequence, either before or after I have made the jpgs in video.

I have tried Photoshop, which does a great job to “import to stack and auto align”, but it seems limited to the max number of layers (500) and in real terms I could only process 100 – 200 frames/images at a time. When done in batches, each 200 frame batch were different from the other batch.

I had hoped there was a way make it into film, and use AE to auto stabilise, however I can’t get any good results with stabilise motion. All the images are taken from a fixed camera, but there are someimtes slight 1,2 or 3 pixel shifts in each image resulting in jerky video if not stabilised.
    Thanks

If there is just a few pixels of fluctuation from frame to frame, Mocha will track that perfectly well.
