    Hi,

    Right, I have a problem. I have this is image (JPEG), first I opened it in PhotoShop and used colour range to select the parts I wanted, copied them to a new PSD, saved it, opened the PSD through illustrator and I am now trying to convert that image contents into a solid.

    The attached image shows what i’m dealing with. Is there a quick way to get all those collated circles selected and changed to individual solids?

    Sounds like you probably want to do a live trace.
    Select the raster object, then click the Live Trace button up under the main menu.
