    image stabilizer in FCP

    I’m trying to stabilize an image and I set the center point on a high contrast area and increased the scan range to about 10 or 20. The image bounces around, however, more so than it did before. I put “image stabilizer” in the search here with no results. This is in FCP 5.1.4. Thank you for any help.

    Never had luck with stabilizer in FCP5. However “Smoothcam” in FCP6 works great.

    I can only second this. But if you don’t want to upgrade FCP, take a look at iStabilize.
