    Hi all

I’m trying to render out an image sequence from AFX. But if I import the sequence back in and lay it over my original animation it appears shorter. Is there a setting I am missing that locks in the frame rate? I’m sure I’m beinbg stupid, but I can’t seem to fix this!

    Any help would be great!

Go into Preferences/Import and make sure the “Sequence Footage” is the same as your timeline’s framerate.

Or you select your imported sequence and go into “Interpret Footage/Main and manually conform to the desired framerate.

Also, consider using a proxy instead of re-importing. In the render queue/output module, select “Set Proxy” in the Post-Render action menu.

Check your Preferences->Import settings to ensure that the default Sequence Footage fps is set to appropriately. Ideally, this the fps should be set to the fps that you most commonly use – hence it is a setting for a default.

You can override this setting in the Interpret Footage dialog for individual footage in the Project Panel.
