    Hello,

I am rendering test animations from my favorite 3D app. Rather than render every frame in the animation, I’d like to render every 10th frame to get a quick idea of things. When importing into AE, of course, I get the message that it is missing 9 out of every 10 frames. Is there any way to inform AE that this is OK, so that I can see the test animation?

Does this seem like a job better suited for Windows Explorer renaming files?

Or- perhaps there is a way to tell my 3D app to name the files sequentially…

Looks like I posted 1 second too soon- rather, setting my comp to 1fps works like a charm!
