Hey all. I’ve created a DV project using HDV footage. I created a QT movie (with a slight judder in some places but not that noticable) and then a DVD. On much of the pan and zoom footage there is an awful judder and some pixelation issues also. Is there anything I can do to sort this out?? Will changing the frame rate help?

is the footage slo-mo? That can cause the jitters. You can try a deinterlace filter on the specific footage.

What versions of everything are you using? Compressor can guess the wrong field order sometimes.

Jeremy is absolutely correct. The latest update to Compressor has really screwed up some things. One thing is being able to detect field order. Go back and re-compress in Compressor but this time change your field order of the default. It happened to me recently.
