Hi! I just wanted to ask for some help regarding error prompts that pop up mainly when I’m rendering material on AE.

On a specific project, I had to composite HD material and at times had to multiply them (as in crowd multiplication). While rendering the following prompt appears:

After Effects error: could not create 1280×720 image buffer (7::39)

after clicking ok, another prompt appears:

After Effects error: bad parameter passed to effect callback (37::49)

Naturally the render ends at that specific point in the timeline.

What could cause this? Is it an AE7 problem or is something wrong with my system? Incidentally, I’m using a Intel MacPro (2×2.66G dual core intel xeon with 4G memory)

On another machine of the same configuration, other image buffer errors appear – 2560×1440 and even 720×480 image buffers cannot be created.

I’m hoping you guys can shed light on this problem. It really throws a wrench into the workflow and because certain projects are graphics heavy, such a problem can’t be tolerated.

    Thanks again.
    LES
