    Hoping someone can help.

I’m trying to get my backup setup up and running. Using Bru software on the Mac (having issues but Bru support hopefully will help with that).
I have a MacPro and want to access my LTO6 tape drive so purchased a HighPoint Rocketstor 6324L which I can’t seem to get it to see the LTO6 via thunderbolt.

I’ve read that I have to purchase the “kit” from Tolis to have the right firmware on the RR6324 which is cost prohibitive for me considering I already own a LTO tape drive and don’t want to have to purchase another one.

I’ve read ATTO card work better but before I go spending hard earned cash I thought I’d check to see if someone knows if this would work…

Bru on Mac connected using Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 cable.

The Echo SE1 are a lot cheaper than that SE3 and I don’t need the speed of thunderbolt 3 so hoping i can just get the SE1 and it will work.
