iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014) not reading my CalDigit HDone drive.
I have old files that I would like to view In an HDone CalDigit Drive that only has a PCI Express x4 connector port. I have my iMac connected to a sonnet adapter from PCI Express x4 to Thunderbolt, but the computer wont read the drive. The drive shows up in disk utilities, but it wont allow me to do anything at all with it. If anyone knows of any solutions please help.

there is no solution.
The last version of Cal Digit HD One software was Mac_V2.2.2 This driver will not run underMountain Lion, Yosemite or El Capitan.
And this card from what I can see has no Thunderbolt support for a Sonnet expansion chassis.

https://sonnettech.com/support/charts/thunderbolt/index.htmlThis drive needs to get hooked up to an Old Mac Pro running OS X 10.8 or earlier, and then you would transfer the files off to an intermediate drive, or across an Ethernet network to your iMac.
