    iMac RAM recommendations

    Hi, Folks,

    We recently added some new Micron RAM to our iMacs and it gave FCP crashing fits. Guess we should have ponied up for the pricey Apple RAM?

    OWC will only do an exchange. Other than Micron, they have Samsung, Techworks, and their own OWC brand. Anybody successfully using any of these flavors of memory in an iMac with FCP?

    (SDI captured to DV files from an AJA IO in our online room)

    I’ve used them all with great success dating back to my Mac IIsi. Never had a problem.
