I’m trying to add plug-ins?
Hello every body! I’m a mac user and I’m trying to add plug-ins draggin and droping into plug-in’s foder. Doesn’t matter if I choice standard or professinal’s folder, when I start AE, they doesn’t work. what is my mistake? Could anyone help-me?

Which plugins? Which plugin versions? Which version of AE?
Many older plugins won’t work in newer versions of AE.

I’m a AE 6.5 user. Wich kind of plugin may I add? what about proceeding, is it right? I was trying to get trapcode shine, aged film and others plugin. Really I don’t know wich plugin’s version. I was thinking that I could add old version into standard folder and new version into a professional one. If you could help-me upgrade my AE version I’ll be glad.
