Doubling down on secrecy sometimes it allows you to read it like an open book.
There will be a MacPro replacement. It will be a different form.

Apple will not give any clues about new products, especially one that isn’t simply an update.

Regarding FCPX Apple has said there will be more features than listed. Secret is what additional features.

I think they won’t reveal anything that competitors can start responding to.

For a company that gets copied frequently I don’t think they want to give anyone head starts.

It’s their business model. Obviously one doesn’t have to accept it but one does have to live with that decision if Apple’s “secret” turns out being what you’d really want or need.

    Personally, I’ve just stopped caring.

Plus I bet they don’t actually double down on security. Mathematically speaking. Just like they didn’t release an upgrade to FCP last year.

What is this propensity for people at ‘the top’ to speak a lot of bollocks all about? It’s 2012. Isn’t it time they grew up a bit?

Can’t remember what he said exactly and don’t have time to read it all again, but while he said “double down on secrecy”, he also said they’d be more open about thier roadmap on certain things. And they way they’ve been more open with FCP X roadmap, that might be kinda true

If a Titan doubles down on secrecy, and nobody even cares, is it really a secret?

[Craig Seeman] “There will be a MacPro replacement. It will be a different form.”

    It will be called…iMac.

Steve said awesome. Tim says double down. All meaningless corporate babble.

Dude, nothing more awesome than doubling down. Except taking it to the next level.

Because “we’re really listening to our customers.”

Tim, I think you should be moving forward on this.
