I’m lost in export limbo…lead me to the light
Thanks everyone for your time in reading this.
I’m running Avid Adrenaline V1.81 on a G5 MacOSX.
Everytime I export a cut using Sorenson 3 compression I get the following message:
“Checking for unrendered AudioSuite effects”
This happens whether I’ve used the plugins or not.
This message can last forever……(echo..echo..echo)
Then when it finally exports it takes seconds.So you can see my frustraion. I did a search on the COW and got nothing.
So YA! first one to encounter this!

Since upgrading to 2.1.1 we have not had many export problems, but when we were using 6.1 things were different. I never had the version you are using, it could be something that’s fixed in later versions. Here’s our experience and solutions to export problems. We stopped using the “send to:” function and started doing and export QT movies (not reference), then using Procoder instead of Sorenson to compress. Works perfectly nearly every time. Then we go to Encore for DVD authoring. If you do not have Procoder, try the QT Movie to Sorenson directly and that usually works, although the compression isn’t as good.

We’ve been using that new h.264 compression for our streaming server, but every otehr person has a hard time viewing that compression. So we use Sorenson3 as our fallback. I will export as a QT out of avid using same-as-source and won’t get the “checking for unrendered AudioSuite plugins”, but if I use Sorenson3 compression out of the Avid %100 of the time I get that message. I was wondering if it was a bug in the newer versions.
