I’M DEAD! My CG won’t work. Need patch?
Wow. I’m I possibly screwed. Hope someone can help.
I think I’m looking for a patch for the Media 100 (Comet) CG for 6.03.
Media 100 says there’s a patch out there somewhere. Comet CG is no longer around. (I’m using OS 9.2 on a G4.)
My hard drive crashed and I had to reload Media 100 on to a new drive but now the CG doesn’t work. And the icon is different. Looks like an older version of the CG

You might try searching the archives to see if your question has ever come up before, there’s a wealth of information contained there.
The M100 installer does install the customized version of Comet CG called CG Studio for use with that version of Media 100 (which was licensed for use prior to Boris Graffiti being the CG), however QuickTime 5 broke CG Studio:
