I dropped an arrow into a Ai project and saved it and when I go to Final cut Pro and bring it in there is a white background. I just need the arrow, I know I can do this with PS but I want that vector art. What do I need to check or do to get Ai files to work w/ no background in FCP? Thanx

In Illustrator, save your document as a PDF then bring it into FCP via Motion. That will do the trick of keeping your artwork as a vector image.

Motion can bring in AI as vector without PDF

But you need to set it to High Quallity in Motion so it continually rasterizes
