    I am trying to get create an extrusion on text. I have tried outlining the text
    but I do not see 3d under the effect menu.
    Can you please talk me thru it?
    Illustrator 10 Tiger 10.4.5

    Well, select your text either with one of the selection tools,
    or select the little
