  Illustrator “Release to Layers”

  i have a stock vector graphics file that I downloaded. What I need to do is have each and every element within the composition as it’s own layer. Currenly, there are about 10 “Groups” and within each group ou find the individual elements.

  I have successfully done this before, in a simpler ai file, by clicking Release to Layers (Sequence) in the side menu. But this ain’t workin’!

  Any help appreciate. THANSK
