  Illustrator on OSX – random files

  For any graphic designers out there…

  Lately I have been updating and saving ai files to find that Ilustrator has generated an updated document and an additional file which has no name but a series of numbers – essentially a duplicate bloating my system.

  Do I need to reload Ilustrator? Is my system dying?
