Illustrator: Is there a known problem with using v12.01 .ai files in other programs?
I just created my first illustrator project (I’ve had it installed for a decade and never used it) and ran into problems using the file in other programs (C4D, see my post there) and in exporting to web. I have the latest CS2 Suite with all updates applied, no other problems with any other programs, but I can’t save for the web from illustrator with this one project, or use the result in C4D. Is there a project setting that would prevent saving in a valid way? I’ve tried all the Save a Copy options, with no luck and I have reinstalled illustrator as well. A pic of the project is here:
