illustrator glitch?
Hi,
I was emailed a .pdf file that opens fine in Acrobat. I hoped to bring it into Illustrator so I could work with it. However, when I bring it in, it inverts the colors. I tried using an invert filter to bring them back, but then it’s got very little contrast and a high brightness value. Any idea what could be happening and how it can be corrected? Thanks in advance.

I don’t recall the particulars but, recently I had to open and either save or export a file in Preview (on a Mac) before I could work with it in Illustrator.
