Illustrator cs3 layer probs with AF7
In AI CS3 i have tried to layer the elements ready for AFX7.
tried using release to layer, build
tried using release to layer, sequence
tried doing a manuel layer change
but when i import into AFX7 as a comp it is flatterned,
If i save in CS2 legacy format it works fine, but there seems to be an issue between CS3 AI layers and AFX7 importing as a comp
been using AFX7 forever now and it only has this issue since i upgraded to CS3 AIwhy?

i think i remember somebody posting with this problem before, and i think they came up with the same solution, save as an older version of ai.
it’s nice that ai can do that, ae has never been able to save as an older file type.
