  • Illustrator CS2 problem: Can’t adjust size and scale

I was working on a document recently using Illustrator CS2, and I lost the ability to size or scale images and text.

The tiny white boxes that usually border the object are gone. Instead, only the blue boxes are there, which, of course, don’t allow such manipulation.

Unfortunately, this problem has happened to all my Illustrator documents. I can’t grab an image or text block and adjust it’s size or scale on anything.

Does anyone know what has happened? Adobe refuses to help because CS2 has expired.

With no files open, choose View > Show Bounding Box
