I’m considering upgrading to Illustrator CS2, and I’m eligible for educational pricing. Two quick questions:

    * Sometimes the education versions are lacking some of the extras. Is this the case here, or is it the same as the retail version?

    * I have a MacBook with a 2GHz Core Duo, so I’d either be in Rosetta land or wait until the next version. When using Photoshop 7 I’ve noticed a little performance hit (compared to when I was on a G4) but it doesn’t really affect usability for me. How does Illustrator behave on Intel Macs?

Behaves fine… I don’t see much of a difference from PowerBook G4 performance… which of course would be significantly better when a Universal version is released…. but the speed change doesn’t bother me enough to revert laptops
