    Illustrator 8 Circle Spline Imports as a Octogon. Any curves come in as straight lines. Any ideas?

    Mac OS 10.4.11, Illustrator CS3 saved as Illustrator 8 eps into C4D R10.111

    Weirdness, Illustrator circles have 4 points not 8 and there is no preference in C4D for importing Illustrator splines differently than Bezier that I know of (which may not mean much) what about Illustrator 8 Legacy .ai file instead of .eps?

    I figured it out!! : )

    Select the spline > Attributes Manager > Intermediate Points > Subdivided.

    Wow! What a feature?
