If you’ve been having ANY problems with 3.0.2…
Posted by Alan Lorence on November 14, 2007 at 10:51 pmIf you’ve been having ANY problems with 3.0.2, please email support at wondertouch dot com right away. We’ve fixed all issues that we know of in 3.0.3, and the changes are in beta testing right now.
After 3.0.3 we don’t plan any more Windows releases until the next major release (which may be called 3.5, or may be called 4.0) which won’t be until mid-2008 most likely.
So speak up now.
Alan.

December 2, 2007 at 11:15 pmIf I encode in DV the encoder always encodes in NTSC even if I chnage the setting and Apply it – it also seems to be rendering in square pixels as the render is too narrow for a PAL DV project in After Effects as well.
Also why can it not remember the last project setting as I always have to change it to PAL DV at 25 frames a second.
Finally is there any chance of the facility to render the Stage ouput to a second monitor, rather as VJ programs do. This would enable Particle Illusion to be a very cool live tool too as well as give a useful facility to view the stage better and have just a preview on the main monitor leaving much more room for the working timeline etc.
Great program – best wishes John McGeoch
PS – I have tried sending this message through the support form but it just gets bounced back.

February 12, 2008 at 5:00 amExcuse me -but can you please help me on a major problem that I simply cannot solve myself. The window where I see my composition [the biggest window] or I think called the ‘stage’
is unusable. It is crazy to tell the truth! No one else seems to have the problem! The ‘stage’ window is either Grey or white.
I cant even use it,because nothing happens! When I import something it says the layer is there but it isn’t. and when I put the emitters it is as if nothing is there, but when i export it you can see everything as if it was working properly—but how can I do things if I cant see what I am doing?!?! If anyone,ANYONE knows what I can do to fix it please reply -

February 12, 2008 at 1:41 pmUpdate your video drivers. That’s a clear sign of an OpenGL issue.
To prove that this is a video issue, run with software rendering. It will be slower but the stage window will work.

February 25, 2008 at 1:57 pmThe ONLY solution to this is to make sure you’re using the best video drivers for your card. Usually this means that you should use the latest drivers offered, but in some cases the latest drivers cause problems. If they do, and if they are “beta” drivers, you’ll need to instead use the newest non-beta (“released”, “qualified” — different names are used).
It is best to get these drivers directly from the manufacturer’s website. If you’re using a laptop, you’ll probably have to get the drivers from the laptop manufacturer’s website, but if it’s a desktop machine you’ll want to get the drivers from http://www.amd.com (if you have a card made by AMD/ATI), http://www.nvidia.com (if your card uses an NVidia chipset), etc.
