If I am scanning photos that I might crop, should I scan them in something larger than 3800×3800?
Because of this forum, I know that anything larger than 4000×4000 can drive FCP crazy.
I’m scanning photos that I might crop.
Given the fact I might crop them, does it make sense to scan at more than 4000×4000? My reasoning is that if I crop it, this way I can still have it at the maximal pixel size to have a high quality image.
I’m about to scan a ton of stuff from an archive. I got one chance with the slides and photos and I wanna make sure I do it right!
