  • Ideal Monitor for FCP??

    20, 23 or 30 inch Apple display??

What do you think is the most ergonomical, best price value?
Is 30″ overkill or just right?
Maybe two 20″ or even two 23″??

Please give some opinions on your experiences!

Amen to that last comment, there’s a guy here a couple of weeks ago who’s using a Westinghouse 37″ LCD as his main monitor, swears buy it. Then there’s Dell and Sceptre, prices are much lower than Apple.

Size is up to you and how you work. I use a 23″ Mac for my main and a 19″ Samsung for my bins and such, but even that is feeling a little cramped sometines.

I really like 2 23’s… the 30 is certainly impressive looking, but it’s very large and when looking at FCP and other apps on it, if you need to sit close enough to see the small letters like tool tips and such, you end up sort of craiing your neck around a bit. I’d certainly suggets you look at one running your favorite apps first. There’s nothing quite like it though…

2 23’s give you more screen space than a single 30 for about the same price… should have at least one 23 so you can display full sized HD on one I think too.
