Activity Forums Adobe After Effects icon meanings ??

    Hi All,
    call me thick but……
    I am sure this is dead basic but you know in the window where you keep all your footage and images and the like (what DO you call that window?). Well in there i have varoius movies and they are represented by a quicktime icon. Some have little colored bits in the bottom right corner. well whats that all about ?? please

    Quicktime files with an overlay on their icon mean that additional data is embedded in them like e.g. project links for After Effects. This option is available on the render queue. The window is called project window.

    Thanks for you r reply and i like you site… looks very interesting..i’lll have a proper look when i get some time..
    As for the things attached to the files . Well i guess i shall have to have another look as there is nothing obvious.
