    Oh the simple things…
    In AE CC 2014, the icons in the project window no longer have any color and they all look similar. The footage, the comps, they have the same feel to them and noticed folks are getting confused visually. Also when you track matte layers, they do not look much diff from eachother also. Kinda a bummer if you like to be organized, many items now all look alike.
    Anyone have this same issue? Obviously you will need AE CC 2014 to see this. Thanks

    Yes, Ae CC 2014.1 changed the color scheme and some previously colorful icons like you mention are now monochromatic. Send feedback [link] if you’d like to see this changed.

    We’ll be adding color back into those icons. This is currently targeted for a release in the spring, when we’ll also add some UI customization.
