I want to uninstall fcp5 and reinstall it
Posted by Eli Mavros on August 18, 2005 at 3:36 amThere used to be instructions up on Apple’s site on how to completely uninstall fcp…but it seems to be gone now and I need it. Does anyone have the directions or know of another place to find them?
Thanks,

August 18, 2005 at 4:44 amApple’s last document 93811 on FCP 4.5 uninstall is no longer on their support site. However, for some odd, prescient reason I had copied it, so
here’s the info. As noted, it applies to FCP HD (4.5) and other apps in the suite. YMMV with FCP 5. Proceed with caution!——————————-

April 24, 2010 at 5:33 pmI have been editing with FCP hd 4.5. Just had a MAC specialist upgrade OS from 10.3.6 to 10.3.9 and QT from 6.5.2 to 7.5 in order to read MPEG-4 video files. Now FCP Application will not come up — gives message, “The application FCP has unexpectedly quit.” Do I need to uninstall and reinstall FCP?
