  I want to simulate an air to air chopper shot

  Apart from the real ground plates and the 3d model of the crashing helicopter, I want to make an overhead shot looking down on the doomed chopper hovering over grass. I’ve got AE 6.5 pro, I reckon it’s only 2 dimensional and doesn’t need a 3d render etc. I just want to have that cuircular downdraught on the grass which catches the sun, with some particulate matter blowing out.
