  I want to make this shape to have a ripple effect

  Guys in the image below I was able to make a shape beveled and transparent [glass].

  However I want the shape to slowly fade in [appear] with a ripple or wavy effect afffecting only the shape then i want it to slowly transform to it’s original color which was red and then I want the ripple effect to slowly end.

  Need a careful explanation on how to do this please
