I Wish I could provide an attachment on this forum but I was able to tweak a color ramp I put together that pretty much covers the full width of the NTSC gamut. If anyone wants to take a gander at it they can just pop me an e-mail. I threw the image down to the boys in editing and they checked it out on their waveform. Nothing goes outside the “circle”.

A little more elbow grease seemed to do the job I guess.

I would love to see it, but poping an e-mail isn’t easy when I don’t know your e-mail address, and it isn’t listed in your profile.

    Question…..
Maybe I am missing something (very possible)……..but even if you start off with colors from an NTSC safe palette,….what happens when you add effects and/or transfer modes which then create new color values? (e.g. glow, shine, additive mode…etc)

    How is this accounted for?

Effects done using those transfer modes unfortunately require the use of a 3rd party plugin for checking like Scopo Gigo or Color Finesse. This color palette will work for those folks who are assembling images in Photoshop with basic color choices. The purpose of this palette is to help keep folks away from making color choices too saturated in Photoshop.

It tries to be. It’s close…. very close but it lacks a little in oranges and such.
