I seem to have found the solution to Multicam mono audio.
I will probably be uploading a tutorial on youtube that shows how to do this sometime, but I thought I’d post it here for you all.
This method is mainly used when you have 2 or more channels of audio on one video angle.
Here’s the workflow for having total control of your audio channels within a multi clip without losing sync:
1. chose the video clip that 2 or more channels of audio on it.
2. select that clip in the event browser
3. right click on the video and choose “open in timeline”
4. once the video is open in the timeline, choose “break apart clip items”
5. go back to the main project timeline
6. gather all separate video angles and create your multi clip.
7. if you open angle viewer, and than select the video angle you performed the above steps on, choose
“open in timeline” and you should have complete access to all your audio channels.Happy Editing!
