  • I need Video Deposition info – how to start in the DC area

Posted by Paul Carey on December 15, 2010 at 7:43 pm

Because of the economy I am looking to expand my business borders to doing video depositions in the Washington DC area. I am not sure where to start. I currently have spoken with a DC lawyer and he spoke of certification. He can use me imediatly after I get certified, I just need to know how and where. Also any helpful info would be greatly appretiated!

    Thanks,
    Paul

It is harder to get into deposition work these days than when I did it, but check with an organization called LEVA. They certify, and they spun off from WEVA, I think.

    Hey Paul,

I’m a legal videographer in Tulsa, OK. Check out CLVS (https://clvs.ncraonline.org/) or AGCV (https://www.agcv.com/) for certification info.

We’ve also got a bunch of information on our site Legal Video Resource (https://www.legalvideoresource.com) for videographers.

Shoot me an email and we can talk on the phone.
