I need to import an AC3 audio file from an old project – how?
I have an 2 files from an old project. An mpg file and the associated ac3. I can load the mpg but not the ac3.
Is this possible?
I thought i could simply drop it in 🙁

Kind of a hack, but it was on the Sony forum…Rename the *.ac3 file to have the .mpg extension and then you can drag it onto the timeline. I added .mpg after the .ac3 extension (myDVD.ac3 became myDVD.ac3.mpg) so the video file was still intact.

I need the file asap therefore I ended up converting it using some free software tool on the web.
I’m keeping your trick in my pocket for next time though 🙂
